Miami Dolphins - 2006 Preseason Analysis The main thing that happened in the off-season for the Miami Dolphins was the acquisition of quarterback Daunte Culpepper. Daunte Culpepper came from the Minnesota Vikings and is a great addition to the Miami team. In addition, the Dolphins and also traded for Joey Harrington from the Lions. Harrington will be a possible backup, or early season starter if Culpepper is not healthy enough to start. Although troubled running back Ricky Williams is out another year, Ronnie Brown will fill in nicely and lead the rushing attack. The wide receiver corps will have a good year with Culpepper at the helm, and Marty Booker and Chris Chambers down the field. Some experts are predicting their leading receiver will be their free agency signee, Kelly Campbell. Campbell is tthe speedster out of Minnesota, who is already accustomed to Culpepper’s style. Their Defense will be as tough as usual, with veterans like line backer Zach Thomas, defensive end Jason Taylor, and cornerback Will Allen. The Miami Dolphins should make the playoffs this year and surprise everyone with a great comeback to the sport of football. They should be an exciting team to watch this season.
