Top 100 NFL Fantasy Players According to Our Statistics ($9.95)Jacksonville Jaguars - 2006 Preseason Analysis The quarterback for the Jaguars is Byron Leftwich, who is looking to bounce back from a knee injury that forced him to sit out five games last year. You can expect him to come out full force, playing with enthusiasm you’ve never seen before. Running back Fred Taylor has to stay healthy this year if he wants to be on a winning team, especially with the unexpected retirement of wide receiver Jimmy Smith. Taylor is a game-changing back who can run for the score every time he touches the ball. He has just been unlucky with knee injuries the past couple of years. The Jaguars picked up Marcellus Wiley from the Cowboys to start at the defensive end position. Along with safety Donovin Darius, and line backer Mike Peterson, who has led the Jags in tackles the past two seasons, the defense will hope to bail out some struggles on the offense. With the retirement of Jimmy Smith, the Jacksonville Jaguars have yet to fill the major wide receiver role. This will likely be one of the biggest problems for the team this year. They are likely to do pretty well regardless. It is likely they will still make the playoffs, if they pull together everything they have.
