Indianapolis Colts - 2006 Preseason Analysis
Head Coach Tony Dungy is back and entering his 6th season with the Indianapolis Colts. He has a knack for making Pro Bowl players and playoff teams, so one can only expect him to do the same thing he always does this season. He is one of the most respected and popular coaches. Players love his character and will do their best to play well for him. He has something that draws everyone in and makes them want to be better.

Led by quarterback Peyton Manning, who is a very good quarterback who studies the game constantly, the team looks good this season. In fact, experts are saying Peyton Manning might just get to realize his dream of going to the Super Bowl this year.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt either that he has three very good receivers to throw the ball to.
Expect wide receiver Marvin Harrison, wide receiver Brandon Stokely, and wide receiver Reggie Wayne to all have big numbers this season.

The biggest surprise to some fans was the loss of running back Edgerrin James to the Cardinals. The team may see a huge loss with Dominic Rhodes in the backfield instead of Edgerrin James.

The team’s biggest free agent acquisition was adding kicker Adam Vinatieri, from the
Patriots. He is a clutch kicker with a strong leg and has won two Super Bowls with last-minute game winning field goals.

With the incredible talent and coaching staff, the Indianapolis Colts are a team to watch out for this season. They will sail through to the playoffs and then only fate will tell what will happen.
