Top 100 NFL Fantasy Players According to Our Statistics ($9.95)Denver Broncos - 2006 Preseason Analysis Veteran quarterback Jake Plummer is back to impress. Wide receiver Rod Smith and wide receiver David Terrell are also going to help the Denver Broncos along the road to victory. Plummer should also get to stretch the field more with newly acquired wide receiver Javon Walker from the Packers. With such a talented offense, the Denver Broncos should have nothing to worry about. The only real concern lies within the defense. As of now, the defense is led by the aging John Lynch (safety) and often injured defensive end Courtney Brown. These two veterans need to stay healthy and play well to uphold the defensive ends of things. Overall, the defense is just not that impressive. Especially when compared with such a great offense, the defense really will have to step it up to be considered special in any way. Another minor concern is the lack of a big name running back. Who will pull into the position well? Who knows! Even the team might not know at this point. They could be grooming a rookie into the spot or may have another trick up their sleeve. Overall, the Denver Broncos should do fairly well this season. If their defense starts pulling together more, they will do great.
