Cleveland Browns - 2006 Preseason Analysis The Cleveland Browns are probably the busiest team in the free agency market this off season. They got LeCharles Bentley from the Saints, who can play anyplace on the line. In addition, they also got running back Reuben Droughns from the Broncos, who should offer immediate positive impact as well. Wide receiver Joe Jurevicius of Seattle came on board as well, who played in three Super Bowls and should offer wisdom to the team. Last, but not least, Willie McGinest, the linebacker from the Patriots was acquired and expected to do very well in Cleveland because he was on those three winning Patriots teams with Head Coach Romeo Crennel. Their real weak point is their quarterback Charlie Frye, who has only played in six games in the NFL. In addition to his lack of experience, the Cleveland Browns don’t really have anyone else to turn to if he bails and cannot perform to his best potential. Things could go bad for the Browns, but as of now, everything is looking fine. As long as Frye doesn’t crack under the NFL pressure and the new players mesh into the system well, the team should look good. With a great head coach, they can really do anything. Now all they need is the confidence.
