Baltimore Ravens - 2006 Preseason Analysis
There is good news for the Baltimore Ravens; their coach will be back! Head Coach Brian Billick, who won a Super Bowl with the team in 2000, will make sure his team is prepared to win by always having his team mentally and physically prepared for success. Billick is a great coach and fantastic asset to the Ravens franchise.

The Ravens had a huge pickup for their team in the offseason with quarterback Steve McNair, from Tennessee. Steve McNair brings a lot to the Ravens. They now have a solid starter that can lead their offense. That is something Kyle Boller never showed he could do, so the team should look “brand new”.

Running back Jamal Lewis will be better with McNair because teams will not just expect the run as they have been accustomed to doing lately. Jamal Lewis will be able to be sneakier and less worn down as McNair will be passing as well.

Wide receiver Derrick Mason and tight end Todd Heap will have their best NFL season to date with a fantastic quarterback like Steve McNair on their side. They are likely very excited about the acquisition and are looking forward to brighter days in the NFL.

Of course the defense will be great because of line backer Ray Lewis, corner back Cris McAlister, and safety Ed Reed, who just signed an extension.

Look for the Baltimore Ravens to show up to win this season! Billick is determined to turn this team around and he is already making a lot of progress.
