Boston (41-9) @ Atlanta (28-20)

The home team in the Atlanta-Boston series has been rather fierce. Atlanta has become a much more improved squad this year and we feel they will get the upset victory today at Philips Arena against the 'invincible' Boston Celtics. The Hawks are an amazing 9-1 home record and getting them as a potential underdog has all of us here drooling. Boston will also be up for this game, but we feel the home crowd will push its team onward. Similar to New Orleans, Atlanta will try to avenge its early playoff exit last year by beating the now world champion Boston Celtics. Take the dog on the moneyline for great value, or take the points for insurance.

Clippers (10-39) @ Chicago (22-28)

We like the Clippers in this spot as they face a mediocre Chicago team coming off an overtime loss yesterday. Both teams are on 0 days rest and we feel that getting points in this matchup is just gravy. We see an SU dog win here as the Clippers are playing great ball lately, while the Bulls are just treading water. Take the dog on the moneyline for great value, or take the points for insurance.

Cleveland (39-9) @ Minnesota (17-31)

We love Cleveland in this spot. They are coming off a tough, hard fought game against Atlanta in their last game (a game that unfortunately broke their winning streak). We see them destroying the pathetic Minnesota Timberwolves today as a stiff 10-point road favorite. Teams in this spot usually excell and with all the positive ATS angles going for Cleveland and all the negative ATS angles going against the Timberwolves, there is no question which team to back. Psychologically, Cleveland knows they must whip this team to get their swagger back. Historically, Cleveland has destroyed this team and we do not see any different today. There is just too much at stake for Cleveland here, lest they lose their momentum and fall back in the East standings, behind the mighty Boston Celetics. On the other side, the T'wolves are coming back from a short Western road trip. Though we wish this was a longer trip, they are still primed to get smoked at home today.

SanAntonio (33-15) @ NewOrleans (28-18)

This is the game that these Hornets have been waiting since last season. After losing to the San Antonio Spurs last year in the playoffs, these Hornets have circled this game for sure. Both teams have been excelling (both SU and ATS) and in these cases, it is best to back the home team. Although the Spurs are a good bet as an underdog, we cannot deny the fact that the motivational edge trumps all other angles in this game. Join the Hornets as they destroy the Spurs today.
