Denver (33-16) @ Houston (30-20)

Today's game against the Denver Nuggets will prove what kind of team the Houston Rockets will be this year. After questionable losses against the Clippers and Grizzlies lately, this team will need to bounce back as they face a red hot Nuggets team. At the time of writing there was no line as of yet, but if the Rockets are a small to medium favorite in this matchup, consider them strongly. The Nuggets are coming off the first leg of a back-to-back (from Dallas) and should arrive in Houston late. Houston has a recent ATS advantage in the last 10 meetings and we feel that the Nuggets will fall flat on their face today. These Rockets also will have recent revenge against Denver.

The Lakers are still getting too much respect from oddsmakers. They are currently a 13 point home favorite against the New York Knicks, a fact that still astounds this handicapper (due to their 1-9 ATS record as a DD home favorite). We must continue to fade these Lakers until they can prove otherwise. The Knicks themselves have been having a pretty good road trip thus far, going 2-2 SU, but 4-0 ATS!). Continue to not trust these Lakers.

NewOrleans (28-18) @ Memphis (13-35)

The Memphis Grizzlies have an opportunity to avenge a recent loss against divisional rival New Orleans Hornets today as they host them as 5.5 home underdogs. They are surprisingly 5-1 L6 (both SU and ATS), with that loss coming at the hands of the Hornets. Since this is recent revenge, we like the Grizzlies today mainly because they have been playing very well as of late. There are some positive ATS edges for the Grizz, and with the Hornets having a mediocre away record, we like the Grizz's chances of pulling off the upset victory today.
