Top 100 NFL Fantasy Players According to Our Statistics ($9.95)Week 7 Picks - (2-1 Record)Atlanta Falcons +2.5 over Pittsburgh Steelers (1.5 Units) - We see these Steelers as a 2.5 point favorite team on the road against an interconference foe. Three dynamics push that. 1) Last year's Super Bowl winner. 2) Off a big win against the Chiefs and and seems like they are back to championship form. Finally, 3) the belief that the AFC is superior to the NFC. But let's not get carried away...It takes more than 1 game to prove anything to anybody. All I know is that the Steelers are still 0-2 on the road. The Falcons are 2-1 at home and coming off of their only home loss against the Giants. Cleveland Browns +4.5 over Denver Broncos (2.0 Units) - The Browns are off a bye, playing at home coming into the game with a poor 1-4 record. Then you have the Broncos who have not played that well this season. They have been winning each of their past 3 games by 10 points but we expect them to overlook the Browns today. The Broncos offense has been struggling. Defensively, they are fine but should be cancelled out by the Browns preparation for this game. A tightly contested game here will only means that the Broncos will have trouble covering 5 points. Kansas City Chiefs +4.5 over San Diego Chargers (1.5 Units) - For sure, you must be looking at me in disgust with this pick. If not for the Raiders, we would consider the Chiefs the worst team in the NFL. For obvious reasons, the Chiefs have a lot to play for. They are coming off of their 45-7 loss to the Steelers. The Steelers were playing in desperation so we don't consider that loss to be a true assessment as to how bad they are. More like, just bad timing. The Chargers are likely to look past their opponent today. We tried to go against them last week and lost and we go against them again. |
