Oakland Raiders +7 over Kansas City Chiefs (1.5 Units) - The Chiefs are laying a lot of points for an NFL team on the road against a division rival. These Raiders are just as bad at home as the Chiefs good at home. 2-5 records both ways. These Raiders played the Chiefs on the road and only lost by 4 points. They would have covered the spread. The reason this spread is messed up is because it is the only game on Saturday and the betting public knows the Raiders suck. And they are therefore all over the Chiefs. Wrong move, the Raiders get a backdoor cover. Pick: Raiders.
Dallas Cowboys -7 over Philadelphia Eagles (2.0 Units) - This should be a good game. Division rivalry game. Battle of TO. And then both teams are in the playoffs hunt. Good game. Dallas is at home with 14 points revenge. Dallas is the pick. And you have to love that 60% of the public is all over Philadelphia. It is like that because they put a steep spread but trust me ... vegas knows what they are doing. In prime time, Dallas will show up their rivals at home. Pick: Dallas Mavericks.
Miami Dolphins -1 over New York Jets (1.5 Units) - When 60% of the public is betting on a team and they are a small 1 point underdog that tells you something. Vegas could easily make the Jets a 1 point favorite and still get the same betting action on these Jets. The point on is that the Dolphins are a division rival that has a lot of bite today. Besides, monday night is a big betting day and Vegas wants to tempt you into betting the wrong team. Pick: Miami Dolphins.
Detroit Lions +5.5 over Chicago Bears (1.5 Units) - These Bears have already clinched home field advantage. So why should they play hard today on the road against a meaningless and wimpy division rival. The Lions may consider this a must-win in front of their fans. At least to save face. The whole world is betting on the Bears right now because they are only -5.5. But it is a TRAP. The real bet is on these Lions. Pick: Lions.
Denver Broncos -3 over Cincinnati Bengals (1.5 Units) - Far too many people are betting on these Bengals today. 59% of people are backing these Bengals on the road. The conditions in Denver will not be good. We feel that is a bad idea. The Bengals are playing on short rest but they are coming of an embarrassing Monday night loss. So the two evils could offset. But we don't think so. These Broncos have lost two straight home games and a win at home will solidify playoffs for them. Pick: Denver Broncos.
Seattle Seahawks +4 over San Diego Chargers (1.5 Units) - We keep betting against the Chargers. The public loves them too much. These Seahawks fans pride themselves on being the 12th man. Additionally, they will be playing tough for playoff positioning. Now the Chargers have a lot to play for also but will they cover 4 points? Not as easy as you think. Pick: Seattle.
