NFL Divisional Playoffs |
Top 100 NFL Fantasy Players According to Our Statistics ($9.95)Week 14 ANALYSIS (Dec 10, 2006)Baltimore Ravens @ Kansas City Chiefs -3.5 - These Ravens are off of their third loss of the season. A close game against rival Bengals on the road. Tough game for them. This Chiefs are a double division rivalry sandwich for them. They just played Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. They will have Cleveland, Pittsburgh after Kansas City. These Chiefs just came off a tough loss against the Browns on the road. A much needed game they had to win. This game will be close defense oriented game because of the playoff implications on both sides. That should help the under. Lean: Under 36. Minnesota Vikings @ Detroit Lions -1 - These Lions are favored??? They only have two wins on the season! They are coming into this game off a 4-game losing streak. But the Vikings are also struggling this season. They are 1-5L6 games. Their only win was a squeaker past the Cardinals 31-26 at home. There is not much to say for this game. NEW ENGLAND Patriots -3 @ MIAMI Dolphins - The Patriots are easily the class of the AFC. Even though they do not have the best record right now, they deservedly could. Their 3 losses on the season were all at home. Their perfect road record is what brings them to be the easy choice as -3 favorites. Well almost. That is because these Dolphins have played well recently. They are coming off a loss to Jacksonville but had run off 4 straight wins before that. Lean: New England. NY GIANTS @ CAROLINA Panthers -3 - The Giants were at 6-2 at one point in the season. They were loking good. Then they had a run with Chicago, Dallas, and two AFC teams. They got screwed and are now sitting at 6-6. OAKLAND Raiders @ CINCINNATI Bengals -10.5 - These Raiders are in utter turmoil. They have lost 5 straight. Two home wins are the only bright part of their season. Very little reasons to believe they will be much competition against these Bengals but the problem is 10.5 points is a lot of points. In their 7 wins, they are only 4-3 at covering this large a spread. We believe they will win the game but its a tossup as to whether it is by greater than 10.5 points. TENNESSEE Titans @ HOUSTON Texans -1 - If you disregard the first 5 games of the season, these Titans are 5-2. They are playing pretty well by tgetting squeaker wins at home against the Giants and Colts. But now they travel on the road to face the Texans. The Texans are coming off a road win against the Raiders. Small home favorites are the kiss of death. Lean: Tennessee. GREEN BAY Packers @ SAN FRANCISCO 49ers -4.5 - We got the over last week in Green Bay's game. This is another game likely to go over. The Packers defense is horrendous. They have allowed more than 20 points in every game except two. The 49ers have had a brush with bad luck. They were on the brink of going 6-5 if only they got the win against the Rams. But now they are sitting at 5-7. They will look to beat up on the Packers. SEATTLE Seahawks -3 @ ARIZONA Cardinals - Seattle is finally returning back to form. They were 4-3 to begin the season. They were looking mediocre at best. Now they have become 8-4. But they are prone to losing key games on the road to division rivals. BUFFALO Bills @ NY JETS -3.5 - The Bills got a backdoor cover against the Chargers last week. Nice for us because we predicted it. Tough to see how they do against the Jets because it is on the road and the Jets are in playoff contention. 3.5 point is a lot to expect the Jets to cover. NEW ORLEANS Saints @ DALLAS Cowboys -7.5 - Impressive win for these Saints against the 49ers and Falcons. But those teams are not much. The Dallas Cowboys got the backdoor (kind of) push against the Giants. They won the game by 3 points and forced us to get a push last week in the Giants-Dallas game. These Cowboys as 7.5 point favorites at home is a bit steep. (Monday Night) CHICAGO Bears -6 @ ST. LOUIS Rams - |
