Top 100 NFL Fantasy Players According to Our Statistics ($9.95)Week 13: Analysis of Select GamesArizona Cardinals @ St. Louis Rams - Arizona is one of only four teams to not have won a game on the road (0-5). They have lost by margins of 11, 22, 13, 17, and 5. And in the game where they lost by only 5 points, they had trailed by as many as 18 points in the fourth quarter. Arizona is your clear cut choice to lose by double digits every game. The Rams, on the other hand, are struggling also. Heading into the game against the Niners, where they barely squeaked away with a win, these Rams had a 5-game losing streak. You would assume that with Chicago on deck, these Rams will play with a fury against the Cardinals. Your lean should be with the Rams. Atlanta Falcons @ Washington Redskins - The Falcons are heading into this game having lost 4 straight games. The Redskins in the middle of a three game home trip. Both teams are struggling and this could turn out to be ugly. Detroit Lions @ New England Patriots - The New England Patriots are coming off of that impressive win against the Chicago Bears. It is December time and the Patriots home field advantage only gets stronger this time of year. They have been lackluster at home thus far (3-3) but we expect it to turn around quickly. With the Lions being 0-5 on the road, there is very little reason to believe these Patriots won't win handily. Indianapolis Colts @ Tennessee Titans - The Colts came off of their only loss of the season in impressive fashion. They posted their highest points total at home against the Eagles on November 26, 2006. Now they travel to Tennessee who is 4-2 L6. These Titans could put a scare to the Colts, so watch out. Kansas City Chiefs @ Cleveland Browns - Watch out! These Chiefs are for reals this year. They are settled in second place of the AFC West. They are playoff bound so long as they win the games they are supposed to. These Browns are considered a must-win and I don't expect anything less than the best from the Chiefs. Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears - The Bears are coming off of their second loss of the season. They responded to their first loss by winning 38-20 which is impressive on the road. The Patriots was a tough match for them as it was their third consecutive road game. So now that these Bears are at home, we expect them to take care of business. Their last home game was a sour loss to the Dolphins. San Francisco 49ers @ New Orleans Saints - San Francisco lost a close one last week. Too bad they did not get the win because they would have been 1 game behind the mighty Seahawks. With the Saints being their second game on the road and these Niners feeling like they were "oh so close". We expect to see the Niners collapse. Houston Texans @ Oakland Raiders - The Texans are 1-5 on the road. The Raiders also have a poor road record but because they are playing at home, that matters not. The Raiders have lost 4 straight games and are the laughing stock of the NFL. They had the chance to beat the Chargers last week but stupid officiating let the Chargers keep the ball when their player clearly fumbled. I see it tough for the Raiders to bounce back but I also see it tough for the Texans to play with intensity either. A high scoring game here. Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Pittsburgh Steelers - The Steelers are falling into the Super Bowl winners curse. Yep, they suck this season. They are coming off of their second shutout loss of the year. How will they respond? With the game at home, you would expect them to play very well. Their struggles this season are highly attributed to their 1-5 road record. Tampa Bay is 0-5 on the road so these Steelers should run away with a win... easily. Carolina Panthers @ Philadelphia Eagles - The Eagles are such a joke. They lost Donovan McNabb. They have lost two straight games. They are coming home with three straight divisional road games coming up. We do not see their mind focused enough on these Panthers. The Panthers are playoff bound if they can win the games they need to. This is one of them. |
