Oakland Raiders +9.5 over Denver Broncos (2.0 Units) - We see these Raiders playing very competitively today. Covering 10+ points on the road is tough in the NFL. Let alone against another team in your own division. These Broncos are mile high this season but aren't they every season? The Broncos have not been consistent offensively at all this year. Defense is what has them playing well this season. But defense does not help you cover double digit spreads. The Raiders are coming off an embarrasing shut out loss last week to Seattle. Then they have two upcoming road games. If they expect to do anything, winning today is their priority. Expect an inspired performance. Sure, they may fall short of the victory but they surely will be within the spread. Easy money.

Pittsburgh Steelers -5.5 over New Orleans Saints (2.0 Units) - The AFC is still far superior to the NFC. These Saints got oblierated by the Baltimore Ravens off of their bye and are going to struggle against these hungry Steelers. Cowher needs to save his job. The team needs to save face after getting beat by the Broncos. All things are in line for a Steeler rout at home. They will regain Superbowl competitive intensity and we know it because the Saints are a non-conference foe that they face before a 2 game road trip against division rivals. When you play a non-conference team at home with two division rivals on the road on deck, you expect to play hard and win ferociously so that you can head into your road trip strong and with momentum.
